Ambrose Field's Being Dufay is a multichannel surround work featuring Kyma's spectral processing of the amazing voice of John Potter (whose credits include the Hilliard Ensemble and Electric Phoenix). Commissioned by the Taga Foundation, the work was premiered in Vigevano, Italy at the VoceVersa Festival 4-12 September 2004. VoceVersa is dedicated to the human voice as the fundamental instrument of communication.
