Rich O'Donnell played a 20 minute solo using Kyma and percussion instruments of his own invention at the Cal Arts Experimental music Festival CEAIT on January 28, 2005 at the REDCAT Auditorium in the new Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. O'Donnell describes Kyma as his "alter ego" during his performances in St. Louis and in various other cities on the east and west coasts.
