Ambrose Field's new track for live electronics, NR, was broadcast on the BBC's Hear and Now radio program on the 2nd of July, 2005. In NR, Field uses Kyma to produce haunting, slowly evolving synthetic sound textures evocative of the real world around us. He designed Kyma Sounds to re-circulate simple materials through a series of spectral processes resulting in a shifting soundscape of urban emptiness.
