A new sound installation by Kyma user Robert Jarvis will be featured at this year's East Sussex Wildlife Festival. Visitors to the installation are able to play on a new 'instrument' created specially for the occasion. The 'Keybird' makes use of a conventional piano keyboard of which every note is assigned to the call of a different bird. Depending on how the notes are pressed the birdsong is played back at different speeds and the room fills with moving birdsong.
