Presented by: RobertJarvis

BBC Radio Oxford 95.2 FM
Oxfordshire -- UK

Robert Jarvis' latest composition is a soundscape work for BBC Radio Oxford, taking its inspiration as well as all of its material from recordings made within the county over the last six months - notably using those sounds that are in someway defining of place and contribute to the county's aural heritage.

Since April, Robert has been working with the BBC, its listeners and diverse communities around the County collecting people's favourite sounds as well as their stories, and these have been featured on radio, television and online. The resulting work will be broadcast on 1st November at 9pm as part of an hour's programme focusing on the process that led to the piece's creation and will be able to be listened to within Oxfordshire on 95.2FM, on the BBC Oxford website ( and also on the BBC's 'Listen Again' service for up to seven days after the broadcast.
