kyma•tweaky . Know . DSPStatusProblem

Problem

I have noticed that if I overload the DSP, the DSP Status window continues to show red — 'non realtime..' even after stopping and loading and compiling new sounds. Can this change so it gets refreshed everytime you compile?

I've noticed this, too. Also the Level indicators will sometimes freeze, and the only way to get them to work is to Initialize DSP.

Hi Kurt - yes noticed resetting the sample rate fixed it. One of the timelines that makes this situation arrise a lot is the self playing example.

I'm still seeing frequently on startup of Kyma (6.81f0) on Windows XP x64 Edition with a Capybara/Flame.

Solution

Haven't seen a frozen level indication, but have seen the "Out of Realtime" problem. We are looking into the cause of this. For now, you can clear this by reselecting the sample rate or clock source in the DSP Status window.

This should be fixed as of Kyma X.06.
