kyma•tweaky . Know . DragDropOn2ndMonitor

Problem

Dragging a Sound onto the "wire" or "sum box" (the thing that automatically creates a mixer) does nothing---the sound is not inserted into the signal flow.

Solution

This only happens on the secondary monitor (w/o menubar). Aligning the two monitors (in the monitor arrangement panel) along their top edges (I previously had them aligned along the bottom edges) seems to have fixed this for me.

Both problem and solution are documented on the forum:

I have a macbook pro, running os x 10.4.10.

As a feature request, it would be nice to have some visual feedback, like a highlight or inversion, of where you are dropping the Sound.

As an aside, it looks like the form could use some updating to support modern hardware like multicore cpus and >2gb ram.
