Problem

Audio levels in the DSP window show full volume even when I have the Output Level Control set to minimum when using Pacarana. Saved the sound and tried it on another system using a Capybara and the problem didn't exist but I don't consider this a solution.

Solution

As you have discovered, the level meters in the DSP Status window are pre-fader on the Paca(rana) and post-fader on the Capybara.

There are advantages to each way -- we chose pre-fader so that you could see if the signal within Kyma was internally clipping (which would not show up if the meters were post-fader).

Makes sense. Thank you.
