ECHO AUDIOFIRE12 FIREWIRE AUDIO INTERFACE

The AudioFire12 is a 12 channel analog audio interface with integrated mixer that comes with a control panel (AudioFire Console) for configuration. The interface can be used with the Paca(rana) whether or not the control panel software has been installed.

ALERT! Do not install the AudioFire12 driver. If you have already installed the driver, remove the driver before trying to use the audio interface with the Paca(rana).

ALERT! When used without the AudioFire Console software, the AudioFire12 is configured with all 12 audio inputs mixed to each of the 12 audio outputs. If there are any external signal paths from an AudioFire output back to its input, you will generate full amplitude feedback.

To install the console, drag the AudioFire Console control panel application from the installation CD-ROM onto your computer's disk. Once the AudioFire software is installed, you can use it to configure the AudioFire's internal mixer.

IDEA! When the Paca(rana) is turned off (or disconnected from your Macintosh), the AudioFire can be used as the audio interface for your Macintosh. When the Paca(rana) is turned on and the the AudioFire is selected as its audio interface, the Paca(rana) will take over the interface and prevent audio from being transferred between the AudioFire and the Macintosh.
