The Hilbert transform is a 90 degree phase-shift of the signal.

By the way in the sounds that go with pete's DSP micro code there is one called 90 deg Phase shifter. This is an encasulated Phase shifter and doesn't actually need the DSP code at all. It outputs the 90deg phase shifted signal on the left and the matching delayed (but not phase shifted) signal on the right.
