I wish to invite Kyma users living in the greater Seattle area to attend a concert by Island Soundscape Chamber Players on Bainbridge Island, WA. “Wired 4 Sound” is a concert devoted to three world premiere works for interactive electronics and solo instruments on January 20, 2008 at 4:00 at the Island Music Guild. The three premieres include “Systems of Shadows” for trumpet and Kyma by Brian Belet, “Velocity Studies V: Ngate” for multiple trumpets by Allen Strange, and “Redux” for multiple violins by Larry Austin. All three composers will be present at the concert and an informal moderated forum with the composers and performers will be held after the concert.
