Genji on Kyusyu Island
Live performance: 12 Oct 2004 --
Presented by: YasushiYoshida
Public:
Yufuin
Kyusyu-Island -- Japan
http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~channel-d/

Yasuski performed "Genji Tales" in the countryside of Japan (Yufuin on Kyusyu-Island) at a museum that has a small stage for traditional Japanese doll theater. To make things more exciting for the outdoor gig, it rained every day and a typhoon hit Japan around the same time. Nevertheless, the gig was finished successfully under better conditions. Here's a photo report from Yasuski's blog: http://blog.livedoor.jp/channel_D/archives/7952928.html.

Discussion (Eyewitness reports, descriptions, discussion):

Here are some additional photos from a gig he did in Tokyo (in which you can see the foot-switch controller that he uses for controlling Kyma patches that process live input from acoustic instruments):
