Carlos Alberto Augusto's new piece, Cine-Lisboa (for Portuguese guitar and recordings of the Lisbon soundscape), will be included in a new DVD titled Lisboa.Reloaded to be released on July 12, 2005 as part of the 12th International Congress on Sound and Vibration in Lisbon. The Congress is open to the public and will include an entire session on acoustic ecology with keynote speaker R. Murray Schafer. For more background on Augusto's work, visit his website.
