Better than any hill in Michigan

JoelNewport used Kyma to create a wintry mix of SFX for a TV advertisement produced for a Canadian ski resort.

Discussion (Descriptions, reviews, discussion):

Trendy looking models on ski slopes glance disdainfully at the camera to a soundtrack of desolate whooshes and mournful wind sounds as a rock and roll track gradually fades in and builds to the punch line, "Searchmont: Better than any hill in Michigan". JoelNewport created all the SFX in Kyma by taking a fiberglass bike flag, whipping it through the air, generating RE and EX files, and playing them back at different rates. Harvest Music and Sound Design created the spot for a Canadian ski resort to lure the residents of Michigan further north for a weekend of skiing and snowboarding.
