Robert Jarvis' installation Disappear is the winner of the 2005 British Composer Award in the New Media Category. You can listen to a recording of the London awards ceremony as it was originally broadcast live on BBC 3. Imagine "The Academy Awards" for new music and you will get an idea of what this is like. The New Media Award is announced about 45 minutes into the program and you can hear Robert's acceptance speech and an excerpt of some of his "endangered sounds".
