Long time Kyma user Max Urban has just released “Threnody to the Victims of 911” as a digital download. Max ran his guitar signal through the KYMA frequency tracker in order to trigger Pizzicato and Col Legno string samples throughout the six minute composition. The contrast of the raucous guitar tone with the random accompaniment of the string section gives the piece an eerie quality. Available now for download on iTunes.
