Degrees available: Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate
Kyma used in: course work, studio time, research

Kyma is used in ECE 302, a survey course of computer music for graduate students and seniors in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prerequisites include some musical knowledge (know how to read music, be familiar with key signatures and circle of fifths, etc.), and a discrete signal processing course.

Kyma will not be a major part of an undergraduate degree (ECE 402 uses it and optional semester project courses); it can be a major part of a graduate degree if the thesis work uses Kyma.
