Question (or Task)

I would like the timeline to change the VCS preset so that the presents are synchronised with the flow of the timline. ie. present 2 at 2 mins and preset 3 at 3:30 etc I can see how to send MIDI Program Change messages from an external source to do this, but I can not see how to do this internally - from the timeline.

Suggestions, advice more than happily received :-)

Solution(s)

In the Timeline, on one of the tracks, you can schedule a SoundToGlobalController with Value set to the desired preset number at that time and GeneratedEvent set to !ProgramNumber . For example, please see Scheduled Preset Changes in Timeline in the Share section.
