Problem

I had burned 6.10 and its accompanying files to a CD a while back; tonight I worked on 6.08 and remembered to update. I replaced the old Kyma X app (6.08) with 6.10 and placed all files in their required places. Kyma won't launch now. I rebooted the Capy and the laptop. The utility 'top' shows the process start but then it quits. I suppose I could reinstall and reupdate to 6.08; but I'd like to get to at least 6.10.

Thanks so much!

Solution

Are you using Mac OS 10.2? Right at this moment, Kyma 6.10 and newer requires Mac OS 10.3 to support the new Wacom tablet functions. We are looking into a work-around for OS 10.2 users to be able to use the newer Kyma releases (without tablet support).
