Kyma Open Sound Control Documentation

Starting in Kyma version X.74, you can connect your Paca(rana) to software running on other computers or to Open Sound Control (OSC)-enabled controllers using the Ethernet port on the back of your Paca(rana).

Open Sound Control is a protocol for communicating between computers, sound engines, and controllers over TCP/IP Networks (such as Ethernet, WiFi, and the Internet). OSC offers faster speeds, higher resolution, and greater flexibility than is afforded by the standard MIDI protocol.
