Symbolic Sound Launches New Website to Coincide with Kyma X Release

New site features hierarchical navigation, search engine, and an expanded online community

CHAMPAIGN, IL—January 15, 2004—Symbolic Sound today announced a major website renovation to coincide with the widespread release of Kyma X. Located at http://www.symbolicsound.com, the new site features a minimalist design, hierarchical navigation links, enhancements to the online support area, and a search engine.

“We went online with our first website in 1995 and, over the next 9 years. it had expanded and grown into a massively interconnected web,” said Symbolic Sound president Carla Scaletti. "When beta tester Ben Phenix saw the hierarchical signal flow diagrams in Kyma X, they reminded him of the structure of a website. He emailed me a mockup of his concept of using a signal flow graph as a navigation element, and I liked it enough to go ahead with totally revampling our site."
