Taken 2008... The Orange Hut mark 2, with associated upgrades that bring us into the professional domain of audio recording and editing. Seems a shame, but the equipment can sway that difference!?

About Polynomial

• Polynomial - Polynomial was originally formed by two friends back in 1999: the Glastonbury tripper and Zen master Matthew Daughton, & the ex-biochemist/molecular geneticist Karl Richard. Their original plan was to build new sounds using some of the lastest technologies that their hard earned bucks could afford, and from them forge new soundscapes made with rhythmic abnormalities and tonal abstractions. Originally starting out using just Fruity Loops and Logic 4.6.1, they gathered many field recordings of pretty much anything that happened to cross their paths i.e. broken glass, bar brawls, ocean waves, etc... and combined these sonic textures into new rhythmic and tonal forms. During their journeys together they built up a grand collection of sound synthesis hardware and software, and have developed many interesting compositions from their endevours to date. It is with sad regret that we inform people Matthew Daughton's passing away in February 2006 while recording at the Orange Hut studio. He was good friend to all those that knew him and he will be missed dearly. Karl Richard is currently compiling a synopsis of their works to date for general release. • BBE - Karl Richard is currently involved in helping BBE Records scout for new talent to add to their already impressive collection of artists and repertoire. BBE are looking to extend their already impressive back catalogue of Brazilian grooves, 70s Funk, Hip-Hop and Soul, garage, disco and techno, and are keen to move into more experiemental territories, aiding new artists to keep the evolution of musical form progressing into new and uncharted waters.
